Our Story
Beings Systems was founded in 2019 by Kieran Blair, an Air Force fighter pilot and flying instructor. His vision was to provide Australia with access to microgravity parabolic flight services. A lot has changed since then and we’ve been inspired to step up our game.
With our expert partners and by using our test and evaluation experience with leading air forces all around the world, we’re accelerating the success of systems, humans, and research in space environments. We provide highly accurate and effective microgravity & parabolic flight-testing services for science & research, human physiology & spaceflight and for space hardware testing and verification to TRL 7 using international standards.
We’re building a future where we can live well in space and we’re in the business of providing you the tools and expertise you need to fuel and fulfil your space ambitions.
The Team
Kieran Blair
Chief Executive Officer
Kieran is a fighter pilot and flying instructor in the Royal Australian Air Force. Kieran holds an MBus and a BTech in Aviation and has multiple years of experience in aerospace research and testing in live and virtual environments.
Andrew Kerle
Chief Operations Officer
Andrew is an Air Force test pilot with 15+ years of operational testing and evaluation. Andrew’s background includes qualifications from the Royal Australian Air Force, the Royal Air Force and the United States Air Force.
Mat Biggs
Chief Technology Officer
Mat Biggs is an aeronautical and flight test engineer with a broad range of experience in Air Force including design engineering, maintenance operations management, systems integration, project management and flight test.

Dr Gail Iles
Scientific and Academic Advisor
As a former astronaut instructor for the ESA, Gail has trained crew for several International Space Station mission and is the most experienced parabolic flight expert in Australia; with over 500 parabolas to her name.
